Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son daughter of Richard McCormick. Her family consisted of a mother who was an housewife, and her father who worked as a teacher. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her brothers older than her. From a young stage of life, McCormick loved to sing as well as dance. She would also put on puppet shows for youngsters in the area. In the year she turned 6years old, she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether she was looking to pursue a career in show business. McCormick was offered her first major task when she was cast in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels latest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. McCormick also starred in a commercial in 1964 for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was chosen to play the lead role in The Wind It Up and It breaks, a production at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from 1,200 youngsters to be the oldest of the three twins in the TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed and Robert Reed. The show lasted for five years. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick revealed how during the fifth season of the TV show, she nearly lost her their virginity to twin brother Barry Williams.
